Women’s Centers Supporters and Friends….

At the August Board Meeting, the Women’s Center of Greater Lansing Board of Directors unanimously voted to promote Cindie Alwood, Co-Director, to the Executive Director position for the Center.  The Center was previously lead by the co-directorship of Cindie Alwood and Manuela Kress.

“Ms. Alwood has demonstrated her leadership skills as Co-Director and is ready to lead this organization into the future”, stated Jane Schoneman, WCGL Board Chair.

Ms. Kress leaves the Women’s Center after successfully guiding the organization through the first years of its existence.  The Board commended Ms. Kress for her hard work, dedication and leadership during the five years of the Center’s existence and wished her well in her future endeavors.

The commitment to the women of Greater Lansing remains unwavering as we pursue our mission to help women realize their full potential.
